On September 29, UF Health Science Center Jacksonville Women in Medicine and Science leaders showed their appreciation and support for faculty and staff at UF Health Jacksonville and UF Health North with a donation of sweet treats from Sweet Pete’s Candy. The leaders interacted with faculty and staff and brought some sweetness into their day.
The mission of the Women in Medicine and Science group is to promote and invest in advancement, leadership and success for women in medicine and science by facilitating career opportunities through engagement, collaboration, networking, education and mentorship. The group aims to see an equitable work environment in which all women in medicine and science can succeed and thrive in their careers.
