On May 25, the Office of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access will host an inaugural meeting of Women in Medicine and Science. The event is open to all faculty and is an opportunity to learn about how to get involved and hear more about the great networking, leadership, educational and social events.
The mission of Women in Medicine and Science is to promote and invest in advancement, leadership and success for women in medicine and science by facilitating career opportunities through engagement, collaboration, networking, education and mentorship. It is comprised of at-large members, executive committee members and an advisory council. Anyone can be an at-large member and attend events, meetings and activities. Members can also join subcommittees for professional development and networking opportunities.
