Listening and Learning Sessions on Cultural and Injustice For Us

listening-and-learning-session

June 24 – July 9, 2020

During late June and early July 2020, the UF Health Diversity Council and UF Health Science Center’s Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access Advisory Council invited staff, faculty and residents to attend one of 15 listening and learning sessions on cultural and social injustice.

Each session was designed to be a safe listening and learning environment to help us as an organization better understand the impact that cultural and social injustice has on staff, faculty and residents, as well as on our work environment.

Our mission is to cultivate a culture of inclusive excellence.

These sessions afford each of us the chance to learn how our varying cultures, beliefs and backgrounds influence our reaction to national events, improve our work environment and how they can contribute to a strong, vibrant organization with clarity and unity.
